Tours to the UAE from Chisinau — Dubai and Other Emirates

Tours to the UAE and Dubai from ChisinauWhile it is winter back home, the Emirates enjoy +23…+30 °C, and you can fly there from Chisinau without a connection: flydubai runs direct flights to Dubai that take about five hours. The country is made up of seven emirates, and holidaymakers usually choose between big-city Dubai, the capital Abu Dhabi and the quieter beach resorts in the north and east.

The package covers flights, transfers, accommodation on the board basis you pick and insurance; getting to Chisinau is paid separately. Ukrainians holding a biometric passport can visit the UAE visa-free (details further down). The tour search shows what all operators offer on your dates, and our manager will help you find an option that fits your budget.

Flight and Transfer

The direct flydubai flight from Chisinau lands at Dubai International Airport. The number of weekly flights depends on the season, so pick your dates straight in the search. Dubai is 2 hours ahead of Chisinau in winter and 1 hour ahead in summer.

From the airport it is usually 20–40 minutes to hotels in Dubai, 30–60 minutes to Sharjah and Ajman depending on traffic, about an hour and a half to Abu Dhabi and Ras Al Khaimah, and roughly two hours to Fujairah. Getting to Chisinau itself and parking for the length of your holiday are described in the Egypt from Chisinau overview: the trip to the airport is the same whatever your destination.

Which Emirate to Choose

  • Dubai. Skyscrapers led by the Burj Khalifa, Dubai Mall with its dancing fountains, Palm Jumeirah and city beaches. Hotels here are mostly sold with breakfast, and all-inclusive is rare.
  • Abu Dhabi. The capital, home to the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, the Louvre Abu Dhabi and Yas Island with Ferrari World and a big water park. Calmer and more spacious than Dubai.
  • Ras Al Khaimah. Beach hotels, many of them all-inclusive, and Jebel Jais mountain with one of the longest zip lines in the world.
  • Sharjah and Ajman. Dubai's neighbours with more affordable hotels. Sharjah is a dry emirate: alcohol is not sold there, not even in hotels.
  • Fujairah. The only emirate with no Persian Gulf coastline: it lies on the Gulf of Oman, mountains run right down to the sea, and Snoopy Island offers good snorkelling.

When to Go to the Emirates

High season runs from November to March. From early December to mid-January the Dubai Shopping Festival brings sales to the shops, and Global Village is open from October to May. Summer heat climbs to +40 °C and beyond, so tours get cheaper, but most of the day is spent in the hotel or in shopping malls.

How Much a Holiday in the Emirates Costs

The priciest hotels are in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, while Ajman, Sharjah and Ras Al Khaimah are noticeably cheaper. Prices peak at New Year; the end of November and the weeks after mid-January usually offer the best value. At check-in the hotel charges a tourism fee for each night (in Dubai 7 to 20 dirhams per room depending on category) and sometimes a refundable deposit. Entry Rules and Local Customs

  • Visa. Ukrainians with a biometric passport can stay up to 30 days as tourists without a visa. The passport should have six months or more of validity left, and one with an extended validity may be refused at the border.
  • Return ticket and insurance are already part of a package tour, and we send the documents after payment.
  • Dress and behaviour. In mosques and government buildings, shoulders and knees must be covered, and women need a headscarf at the Sheikh Zayed Mosque. Alcohol is served in hotels and licensed bars, and drinking in the street or other public places is not allowed.
  • Ramadan. In 2027 it is expected roughly from 8 February to 9 March: hotels and beaches work as usual, but eating and drinking in public during the day is frowned upon.
  • Leaving Ukraine. Before booking, check which exit restrictions apply under martial law; this matters most for those eligible for mobilisation and for families travelling with children.
