Terms and abbreviations
A set of standard travel terms will help you find out what a particular word or abbreviation means in a tour or hotel description and clearly understand what type of room, hotel, food or transport you will receive on your trip.
ADL(ADULT) - Adult
AGE - Age
CHD(CHILD) - a child, mostly under 12 years old, but in a number of hotels up to 15 years old
SNGL - single occupancy in a room
DBL - double occupancy in a room
DBL+ EXB - double occupancy with extra bed
EXB - accommodation on an extra bed (bed, armchair bed) with two adults
TRPL - accommodation for three adults with an extra bed
CHLD - always cost per child up to 12 years old (not included)
CHLD (2-9) - cost per child from 2 to 9 years old (inclusive, age categories may vary depending on the conditions of the hotel)
INF(Infant) - small child (usually under 2 years old)
Meals:
ВО, RO - no food
BB (Bed&Breskfast) - breakfast
HB (Half Board) - breakfast, dinner (half board). Mostly a buffet.
FB (Full Board) - breakfast lunch dinner. Full board.
All inc (AI, ALL INCLUSIVE) - All inclusive. Meals, snacks throughout the day, including local drinks.
A-la carte - a restaurant where you can choose and order any of the dishes on the menu
Ultra all inc - meals, snacks throughout the day, including imported drinks
Нigh class all inc - food of the highest category, characteristic of the hotel in which it is offered, may differ for different hotels.
Hotel categories:
1* - one star
2* - two stars
3* - three Stars
4* - four stars
5* - five Stars
cat De Luxe - category De Luxe
cat A - category A
cat B - category B
cat C - category C
cat D - category D
HV (holliday village) - a 5* hotel, in which the main part of the building does not exceed 2-3 storey buildings, bungalows.
HV1 - bungalow-type hotel, on the first line from the sea
HV2 - bungalow-type hotel, on the second line and beyond
Type of accommodation:
Standart Room - standard room, usually the main part of the hotel room stock.
Family room - Family room (possibly two-room or larger area, kitchen available)
Main Building - Room in the main building of the hotel.
Studio - one-room suite, larger than standard in area and possibly with a built-in kitchen.

BUNGALOW - The Bungalow
Connected room — two independent rooms, between which there is a common door, locked or opened at will.
ROH - without specifying the location, a room of both the Standard category and any other is possible.

Sea side (view), SV - Room with sea view
Garden (view), GV - Garden View Room
Mountain side (view), MV - Mountain view room
Pool view - view to a pool
Land view - view of the surroundings
Junior suite - Superior Room (Junior Suite)
Duplex - duplex room
Other terms:
OW - trip or ticket only one way
RT - round-trip or round-trip ticket.
Check in - check-in procedure upon arrival at the hotel.
Check out - procedure for check-out from the hotel upon departure.
Checkout time - the moment of the beginning (end) of the day (usually 12 noon), before which the hotel client is obliged to vacate the room or pay in full or in part for the next overnight stay.
Voucher - a document on the basis of which paid services are provided to tourists: accommodation, meals, excursion services, travel by transport, etc.
Guide - a specialist in conducting excursions with tourists (tourists) who has a license for this type of activity.
