Tours to Spain from Lviv — Last-Minute Deals
Lviv airport has no passenger flights for now, so people from Lviv fly to Spain via Poland: Rzeszów is about 170 km away, while Kraków and Katowice are half a day on the road. From there the mainland resorts and the Balearic Islands are three to four hours away by air, and the Canaries about six. The upside of this route is that you cross the Schengen border only once, on entering Poland, and there is no passport control in Spain.
The tour price covers plane tickets, transfers in a shared coach, a hotel room with board to suit you plus medical insurance; getting to the Polish airport and parking are paid separately. The simplest route is the Lviv–Przemyśl train, about two hours, and from there Polish trains run on to Rzeszów and Kraków. Direct coaches run as well, and drivers cross at Shehyni–Medyka, Krakovets–Korczowa or Rava-Ruska–Hrebenne, then park at the Polish airport (parking is paid). Allow extra time: the border queue can last for hours.
Where to Go in Spain
- Barcelona and the Costa Brava. Gaudí's city, with the rocky coves of Lloret and Tossa to the north; easy to combine sightseeing and the beach.
- Costa Dorada. Broad sandy beaches in Salou and Cambrils, plus the PortAventura park: one of the best options for families.
- Costa del Sol. Málaga, Torremolinos and Marbella in southern Andalusia: more than 300 sunny days a year and a season that lasts into October.
- Costa Blanca. Benidorm with its seafront skyscrapers, and Alicante, where the summer sea is among the warmest on the mainland.
- Mallorca. The biggest Balearic island: turquoise coves, the Tramuntana mountains and old Palma.
- Tenerife. The Canary Islands, with the Teide volcano and warmth all year, are the main choice for a winter holiday.

On the mainland and the Balearics people swim from June to September, while in southern Andalusia and Alicante the season stretches into October. The Canaries suit a holiday in any month: in winter daytime temperatures there are around +20…+24 °C, although the ocean is cooler than the Mediterranean.

Hotels and Prices
All-inclusive resort complexes are most often chosen in Salou, Lloret, Benidorm, northern Mallorca and southern Tenerife, while hotels in the big cities mostly offer breakfast. Passport, EES and the Day Limit
- A biometric passport is required: you will not be let into Poland with an ID card. The passport must be valid for at least a quarter of a year longer than your trip.
- EES at the Polish border. On entering Poland you are registered in the system once: your passport is scanned, your fingerprints taken and a photo made. Flights from Poland to Spain are within Schengen, so there is no passport control at the Spanish airport, but you need your passport to board.
- Stay limit: across all Schengen countries, the combined limit is 90 days within 180.
- Leaving the country. Conscripts and children should check before booking how they can currently travel abroad.
