Tours to Thailand from Warsaw: Direct Charters and Deals
In winter, several Polish tour operators send direct charters to Thailand: from Warsaw the planes head for Bangkok, Phuket and Krabi, taking around 11 hours with no stopovers. The flying season runs roughly from November to early April, matching the driest and sunniest months. From Kyiv or Lviv, Warsaw is a train or coach ride away, and since 15 September 2026 Ukrainians can spend 30 days in the kingdom without a visa.

Things to Do
- Phi Phi and Phang Nga. Boat tours to turquoise lagoons, rock islands and James Bond Island, where «The Man with the Golden Gun» was filmed.
- Similan Islands. A national marine park with some of the country's best snorkelling and diving, open roughly from mid-October to mid-May.
- Bangkok. The Grand Palace, Wat Pho with its giant Reclining Buddha, Wat Arun on the Chao Phraya River, floating and night markets.
- Ayutthaya. UNESCO-listed ruins of the kingdom's ancient capital, about 90 minutes from Bangkok.
- Thai traditions. Massage, cooking classes and elephant sanctuaries where the animals are fed and bathed but never ridden.
Best Time to Travel
- November – April. Dry weather on the Andaman Sea around Phuket, Krabi and Khao Lak and on the Gulf of Thailand near Pattaya and Hua Hin: the air reaches +31…+33 °C and the sea +28…+29 °C; this is when the charters fly.
- May – October. Rain on the Andaman coast, waves and red flags on the beaches, but noticeably lower prices.
- Samui. The island has its own climate: its wettest months are October to December.
Visa, Money and Rules
- 30 days visa-free. The rule applies from 15 September 2026; the stay can be extended once by 30 days at an immigration office for 1,900 baht.
- Passport. Bring a passport that remains valid for six months or more after arrival, plus a return ticket; officers sometimes ask to see funds for the trip.
- EES. On entering Poland on the way to Warsaw, Ukrainians have their fingerprints and photo taken for the EES.
- Money. Thailand uses the baht: hotels and malls take cards, markets want cash, and ATMs add a fixed fee to each withdrawal.
- Transport. Taxis are easy to book through Grab or Bolt, in Pattaya people ride songthaew pick-up buses, and scooters should only be rented with an international licence for category A.
- Prohibitions. E-cigarettes and vapes are banned in the country and carry fines; in temples cover your shoulders and knees, and speak of the royal family only with respect.
- Leaving Ukraine. Before paying, make sure the current border rules allow you to leave — this matters for men liable to call-up and for teenagers.
