Tours to the Dominican Republic from Kyiv — Last-Minute Deals
Caribbean beaches at their purest await in the Dominican Republic: white sand, coconut palms and a warm sea all year round, with coral reefs taming the ocean swell off most beaches. Nothing flies there directly from Kyiv, so tours mostly depart on nonstop charters from Warsaw and Katowice in Poland or from Prague in Czechia: some 10–11 hours later you land in Punta Cana. Alternatively, a trip can be pieced together from scheduled flights with connections via other European airports. Ukrainians travel visa-free.
Packages bundle the flight, a shared transfer, a hotel stay, usually all-inclusive, and medical cover, while getting to the departure airport is paid separately. Matching hotels and dates show up quickly in the tour search, while our staff can tell you which airport suits you and how to get there.
Flying to the Dominican Republic from Kyiv
| Option | In the air | Points to consider |
|---|---|---|
| Charter from Warsaw or Katowice | ≈ 10–11 h | The nearest departures; reach Poland by train via Przemyśl or by bus, and EES registration happens at the EU border |
| Charter from Prague | ≈ 10–11 h | A longer trip to the airport, but more dates and hotels to choose from |
| Scheduled flights | From 13–14 h with a connection | Any combination via European hubs, handy when no charter fits your dates |
Hotels in Bávaro are 20–40 minutes from Punta Cana airport, while Bayahíbe and La Romana take roughly 90 minutes. For an early departure, arrive in Poland or Czechia the day before: the Ukrainian border can be busy, and EES registration adds time.

Prices, Money and Tips
What a tour to the Dominican Republic costs depends on the dates, hotel category and departure city; the long-haul flight is a big part of it, so early booking and the low season bring real savings. Money here is the Dominican peso: change US dollars at banks for a better rate, and leave euros at home because the exchange rate is poor. Restaurants expect about 10% of the bill, housekeepers and porters 1–2 USD. Sockets are American-style, so pack an adapter.
Documents and Entry Rules
- Visa-free. Ukrainians can stay without a visa for 30 days.
- Passport. Its validity has to cover at least six months from the day you arrive.
- e-Ticket. The electronic entry and exit form is completed on the official portal, ideally 72 hours before the trip. It generates two QR codes; print them or keep screenshots for passport and customs control.
- At immigration, officers may request return tickets, a hotel voucher with the address and proof of sufficient funds.
- Customs. You may bring in up to 20 packs of cigarettes and up to 3 litres of alcohol; foreign currency is unrestricted on entry, and cash taken out may not exceed what you brought or 10,000 USD. Pesos may not be imported or exported, nor may more than 50 cigars per person leave the country.
- EU transit. Travelling through the EU requires a biometric passport and EES registration. Exit conditions for under-18s and for men subject to mobilisation change often; confirm them when booking.
